Don't allow fear to hold you back from prospering in life or even from accomplishing daily tasks.
Don't allow worry and anxiety(worry and anxiety is a form of fear) to prevent you from achieving God’s will in your life.
No matter how strong our relationship with God and His unconditional and unwavering love for His children there will be times in our life we are faced with trials and tragedies. However, we must remember that if we have an intimate relationship with God we will be carried through our struggles. God will be there as our most loyal friend would, and He will be there to provide the strength to recover from any trials we unfortunately endure in this life. God does not want us to be afraid of any person, circumstance or trial. God wants all of us to live a full, blessed, and joyous life. John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” The thieves in our lives are the fears, the idols, the temptations and sin. Don’t allow the thieves to steal your joy!! Strengthen your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ so your trust in God can overpower your fears, worries and anxieties in life. Faith is not believing that God can, it is knowing that he will. As your faith in God increases your fear will decrease. As we focus less on ourselves and more on God, our fears, worries and anxieties will diminish. Stay strong in God’s Word.
In the Parable of the Talents, the version in Luke’s Gospel 19:12-17 and the version in Matthew’s Gospel 25:14-30 Jesus shares his message the story of the 3 servants. Each one was given a different talent (amount of money). Two of the servants put their talent(money) to work and brought back more to the master, but the third servant hid his money out of FEAR. The third did guard his money, but was judged unproductive by the master. The message in this parable is that God wants us to use our natural talents and spiritual gifts as best we can, in the most effective way and for the most good. God does not want us to store our treasures and talents, keeping them to ourselves, safeguarding them. As Matthew 6:19 states, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.”
There are many scripture verses (NIV) in the Bible that provide us comfort when we are feeling weak, worried, anxious, or fearful. Meditate on these verses and allow God’s Word to work in your life and in your heart, soul and mind. Do not allow fear to overcome you and steal the joy that God wants for your life.
